Ongoing sessions. We usually break only at Christmas
- Choreographies taught but emphasis is on feeling and improvisation

My students have progressed from the "Foundation Course in Egyptian Dance", which gives students a solid grounding and is suitable for complete beginners- which is also suitable for those who feel that they might need to revise some of the more basic movements. We are aspire to be at this level by late 2015 |

This course is suitable for those who already have a good grounding in technique and who wish to enhance their dance repertoire and learn new skills and develop their performance. I encourage the development of their own dance style and expression.
We aspire to be at this level by late 2015/early 2016
It is hoped that as a natural consequence of these sessions it will prepare dancers for performing at Anne's events with Planet Egypt.

I teach Raqs Sharqi, Egyptian Dance Courses. There is provision at all levels of experience.
Course length and information Tuesdays
We will use dance studios that are private and spacious. Classes are structured around syllabuses and curriculums, all classes offered are intended to run throughout the coming academic year. Hand outs of syllabuses, and Class Information are part of the course. There is also plenty of information for students on the website.
Cost
If you pay in advance each class costs £6-£10
Discounts for concessions and for multiple classes are available.

What to wear?
Loose, comfortable clothes, and protective foot wear eg socks or dance slipperettes, those who wish to dress up for class are welcome to do so.
Egyptian Dance is a very graceful and feminine art form.
It is fun, easy to learn, and very expressive. There is a natural progression as dancers acquire more and better skills, and they then move upwards through the different levels that can be taught. Anne is keen to develop the individual styles of her students, and encourage their own self-expression. Dancers from other disciplines and schools are most welcome.
Anne White organizes regular dance events and performance opportunities are available.
