Charlotte Desorgher

Charlotte Desorgher has danced since the age of five and gained a degree in Dance and Education from London University . She has been bellydancing professionally since 1981, learning from watching dancers in the Arab clubs at the height of London’s nightclub boom and then subsequently living for a year in Bahrain.

She now teaches eight classes a week in Croydon as well as organising highly regarded haflas and other events. She is also in demand as a performer and teaches at festivals such as Fantasia and Celebrating Dance.

Charlotte continues her professional development by taking private lessons with Serena Ramzy, by attending master classes and by travelling regularly to Cairo to keep abreast of the latest trends and take private lessons with her favourite dancers.
