During our events, outside of the main perfromance, we will offer a short Open Platform, (at the beginning of the event), to support dancers who are still working on their dancing. If you are interested in doing a short dance for us (to cds) please email me your details on this form including the following information:

Please supply your teachers name and contact details, so that we can obtain a reference for you, unless of course you have been nominated from another verifiable source . If we can't obtain references then you will need to audition as not only do we have standards to maintain, we also went to ensure that you will be able to cope with this experience.

Note: As at July 2007 we are unable to offer any space until the Autumn of 2008 as we are over subscribed (with professionals!)

Advice
This section is meant to inform you of our expectations of you. If you need to notify us of anything please tell us at the end of the Advice Section

1 You do not have to wear a costume but you would be welcome to dress up.
2 You will need to bring original CD (not copies) and your piece will not be longer than 5 minutes.
3 Do not dance bare foot and no floor work-sorry-health and safety requirements.
4 If you are performing someone else's choreography, we expect you to have their written permission.
5 If you are receving medical care we expect you to have sought advice about your participation, and we expect you to notify us in writing
6 We will expect that you have been dancing for a minimum of one year, and that you have had some previous perfromance experience. Both of these will equip you to better cope with your piece, and you could also discuss your plans/ideas with your teacher.
7 We expect you to arrive early, and to make yourselves known to the Organizers, to have given us the required information in advance, and to be ready to dance 20 minutes before the appointed time, and to be warmed up and fully prepared
8 If at any time, prior or during your dance for us, we feel that you should not perfrom (eg being under the influence -drugs/alcohol/medication) we will prevent or curtail your performance
9 We also would like you to have attended some of our previous events so that you know the standards that we aim to maintain, and that you will also be familiar with our procedures.
